Your partnership will enable Lifesprings to offer retreat scholarships:
"We have raised enough funds to cover half of the fees for three ladies for the Lifesprings retreat from our church. I just recently added A, an Ethiopian refugee who has been a faithful serving church member for years. She did not want us to spend money on her but we're telling her it's a treat from God! Please let me know if they can all three receive a scholarship."
"I would like to request a scholarship so I can come to the retreat this year. My friend told me so much about this meeting that I feel like I have to be there...There are so many things going on in my life that I feel so much pressure and so heavy...I need to be 'washed' a bit...'Shaken' is better said."
"God showed me a woman who needs to be refreshed, so I wonder if she can get a scholarship for the Lifesprings retreat. She came from Armenia, as a refugee 4 years ago with her husband and 3 kids. Our church has prayed for them, and cared for them. God put her on my mind to ask if she would like to come. It will be a great opportunity for her to get strength and see sister's love."
"I have a friend from my church in Lyon who is very interested to join the Lifesprings retreat, and would like to apply for a scholarship for it. She is a Nigerian refugee. She and her husband have been faithfully serving in our church for many years. I wonder how much a partial scholarship would be? I will then either ask our church council or take up an offering amongst the women in our church to make up the difference and send her to Lifesprings." |
